HERT is a professional translation company with a long track record and an established and long-standing client base. It was set up in April 1992 by myself, Director Helen Robertson, now with over 25 years' experience in the industry. HERT serves a wide range of clients, from multinational companies to private individuals, with a current geographic spread ranging widely across Europe, from Switzerland to Denmark with the Yorkshire community at its heart.

The Internet has really opened up the company’s service range, enabling it to work with clients and freelance translators all over the world. As of 1 May 2008, all former members of staff have become freelancers and now form a more local part of HERT’s extensive network of experienced subcontractors.
